The Q16 Pro Plus kit continues this tradition with automatic recognition of your resistance. All you have to do is navigate between four power levels at the touch of a button (bottom button). The power level is indicated by an LED system: the more LEDs that light up, the denser the vapour. With its constant voltage, every puff is equally satisfying, whatever the battery level.

To vape, simply press the fire button (top button). Press the same button four times in succession to switch the e-cigarette on or off.

Battery life almost doubled

Another major argument in favour of the Q16 Pro Plus is that its battery has been increased from the 900 mAh of its predecessor to 1500 mAh. Given that this e-cigarette is designed for MTL (tight draw) vaping, with low energy consumption, you'll be able to vape for 2 to 3 days on a single charge.

Charging is finally via USB-C (5V/1A). After 5 years since the release of the Q16 Pro, this is a welcome improvement, especially for owners of the old version.

The battery indicator is now more visible thanks to an LED on the top of the battery. With each puff, this LED lights up to indicate the remaining battery level:

• white: from 100% to 65%;
• blue: from 65% to 30%;
• red: from 30% to 0%.

Good to know: to protect the Q16 Pro Plus battery, use the cable supplied in the kit or a similar cable with a maximum charging current of 1A.

Q16 Pro Plus kit: an even more practical clearomiser

It's not just the mAh that's increased, but also the e-liquid capacity. The Q16 Pro Plus clearomiser boasts a capacity of up to 3 ml of e-liquid, limiting the frequency of refills. What's more, refilling is ultra-simple, as it's done from the top without having to unscrew the top cap. You can also fine-tune your sensations, thanks to an airflow ring on the underside of the tank.

This kit includes a Justfog coil so you can start vaping straight away. Its 1.6 ohm resistance delivers a tight draw very similar to that of a conventional cigarette.

Filling the Q16 Pro Plus

• Turn the top part to the right until you see a horizontal slot
• Fill with e-liquid through the slot.
• Turn the top of the tank to the left to close.

Changing the coil on the Q16 Pro Plus

• Unscrew the base of the clearomizer.
• Unscrew the old coil.
• Screw the new coil onto the base of the clearomizer.
• Screw the clearomiser base back on.
• Warning: if the coil is new, allow it to soak in e-liquid for 10 minutes before vaping. If you notice a reduction in flavour or a burnt taste, it's time to replace your coil.
