So here there are no technical settings, no voltage control, no touch screen and no vapour modes, but robust devices that are almost impossible to break. For many experienced steamers, this return to basics is the ultimate. Mech Mod users are usually passionate steamers who want a durable device and a truly customised vapour experience. They love the hands-on experience of essentially building their own fully personalised device. While self-winding coils isn't for everyone, for Mech Mod users it's an event like Christmas and a birthday coinciding.

However, there are a few things to keep in mind:

The power is delivered to the vaporiser unimpeded, and without adjustment or safety features, and wants to be understood accordingly. It is not advisable, and can even be dangerous, to attempt to manipulate voltage or other functions on a mech mod without safety features, with little physical knowledge. If you are interested in unregulated battery packs, but are not yet familiar with them, then ask, learn and do not move on this adventure until you are completely comfortable with the necessary knowledge!
