Pod Xros 4: a design as neat as ever

Xros is back looking better than ever! Clad in an aluminium alloy shell, the Xros 4 pod is robust yet stylish, with a meticulous finish. The Xros 4's cool little extra is a small, rounded screen that stylishly displays your power level (we'll come back to that!) as well as your battery level.

Long and light, the Xros 4 pod is very comfortable in the hand with its dimensions of 120.8 × 24 × 14 mm for just 51.5 g. An e-cigarette that will be discreet between uses, but which will be all the rage once in plain sight. In fact, Vaporesso hasn't pulled out all the stops when it comes to colours. You'll obviously find the classics like black or silver, but those looking for a bit of fantasy will be served with a few options that are a little more daring like the 'Pastel Palette' or the 'Bloody Mary'.

If the Xros series continues to endure after so many years, it's also thanks to its performance, which could be described as impeccable. For the arrival of the Xros 4, the Axon chip goes into 'pulse' mode for the occasion. This ensures constant power and satisfying puffs throughout your battery life.

Very accessible, the Xros 4 pod requires no adjustment but still offers you a few customisation options for vaping that meets your expectations.

Total control with a single button

Equipped with a single button that will let you do it all, a little user guide seems most timely to me.

• Five presses to turn your Xros 4 on or off.
• Four presses allow you to lock your Xros 4. This prevents accidental start-ups in your pocket and vape in autodraw remains active for a quick puff well done at any time.
• Three presses to access your power level selection. Once the indicator is flashing, you can press again to navigate to the desired level.
• Finally, if you're one of the vapers addicted to the fire button, free to use this button to vaper.

Three power levels

As you may have seen above, the Xros 4 pod offers you three power levels. The power levels are symbolised by small logos and a colour code.

• One logo and a green and blue light for fairly low power with a low temperature vapour.
• Two logos and a blue and pink light for medium power with a moderate temperature vapour.
• Three logos and a pink and yellow light for maximum power with a hotter and denser vape.

This system allows simple customisation of your vape sensations. Sensations that you'll be able to refine even further with the help of the adjustable airflow located on the back of the Xros 4 pod.

Great battery life and express charging

As far as battery life is concerned, the Xros 4 pod has a built-in 1000 mAh battery that you can fully recharge in just 30 minutes thanks to its fast 2 A charge via USB-C (cable supplied). To keep an eye on your battery level, an LED will light up with each inhalation.

• Green LED from 100% to 70%;
• Blue LED from 70% to 30%;
• Red LED from 30% to 0%.

Xros 2.0 cartridges

With the Xros 4 pod kit, it's your chance to try out the new Xros cartridges featuring Corex 2.0 technology. The integrated mesh coils have once again been reworked by Vaporesso to give you better flavours, more durability as well as denser vapour. Included in this kit are the 0.4 ohm and 0.8 ohm versions to enjoy a generous RDL vapour or an ultra tasty MTL tight draw.

• Xros Top Fill 0.4 ohm cartridge: RDL air draw - PG/VG ratios from 50/50 to 40/60 - recommended nicotine levels up to 6 mg/ml.
• Xros Top Fill 0.8 ohm cartridge: MTL draw - PG/VG ratios from 70/30 to 50/50 - recommended nicotine levels up to 20 mg/ml.

Another little plus on these cartridges, a top-fill which means you don't have to remove the cartridge from the battery each time you fill up with e-liquid. You get a 3ml tank with a leak-proof structure for a smudge-free experience.

Xros Top Fill 3 ml cartridge refill

• Remove the drip tip from the cartridge.
• Fill with e-liquid through the silicone cover.
• Replace the drip tip.

Replacing the Xros Top Fill 3 ml cartridge

• Remove the used cartridge.
• Install a new cartridge.
• Caution: if the resistor is new, prime it well by letting it soak in e-liquid for 10 minutes before vaping. If you feel a decrease in flavours or a burnt taste, it's time to change the resistance.
